ALISON! this is for you. because i love these pictures and i couldn't wait to show you them when you came back =)

first! the getty villa on friday!

now the FUN BEGINS, this is the interactive family/school room where we could do fun greek/roman related things... likeee... a SHADOW SHOW!

what was even cooler, or i thought was the coolest part of the garden.. an interactive herb garden.. meaning you could pick pieces of herbs and smell all you like.. to the extent of your own happiness.. smelling rosemary, thyme, and my fav. CHAMOMILE!!

and it's yellow. how fitting haha. i was excited though.

that's the herb garden from our butts perspectives. no these are just pretty pictures of us walking through the garden.. looks kinda like WE're in italy huh? not really.. but i'd like to imagine.

beautiful franciscan tile work.. and gardens! the franciscans are so awesome. lol

MALIBU. the women chose well. seriously. it was so beautiful and a nice day at that. so we were camera happy.

at the retreat.. i think i told 5,000 women that you were my missing sister and you were MIA in italy, and i told everyone all about you studying abroad and taking italian and how i'm proud of you.. seriously, i am. you and karen are so brave. i love it.

the speaker, Marion Mann, who i told you about. really a gentle and loving lady.

her husband roland after we took this shot was like "okay, now one with them standing up!" haha he's really nice too, but a jokester.

me and agnes on our SCENIC walkathon... which was really NO walkathon at ALL, we walked around the retreat site for maybe 25 minutes. and then stood around talking and such. but the second photo was at a meditation garden where there is a mini labryinth behind us with concentric stone circles that lead you to a cross in the center. there is only one way so it's not tricky but it's pretty cool.

the CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN that they had after the so called "walkathon"... we ate so much. they had dark chocolate fountain! and basically, we decided that we're getting a chocolate fondue kit.. they aren't expensive and a lot easier to clean than a fountain so that's what we're getting.

and this is my small group =) it was really such a blessing and i really loved the women's retreat, next year maybe all three of us can go??

i love you alison and i hope you enjoyed the lovely walk through of the pictures hehe. but the most important one and my favorite is the one of us and the urn (that's YOU!)lol

CONTINUED!!

haha okay so after sm prom.. what was left? ew finals.. and BACKWARDS (not too fun) and THEN BACCALAUREATE/GRADUATION/& GRAD NIGHT!! woohooo

and THEN party in the summer but first graduation.

GRADUATION!! class of 06.. i will never forget for forever and ever. we're the centennial class, how can you forget anyhow?

omgosh i can't believe we graduated.. high school is done.. we survived.. WEIRD. and awesome. thank God for being with me.. seriously.

oh the fab 5.. through high school.. and we made it.. i love them so much. besties for life.

my family.. i thank God for them daily.. they're so good to me.. sigh how sentimental am i getting haha

the GANGS: sacroomgang (the reg gang, Gs for life in the sacroom haha), PARTY CREW (dances and just CRAZYNESS i love it), spanish group (we're the best spanish group ever and we're bonded in more ways than just spanish class.. i love you guys.)

ai yah and then GRAD NIGHT immediately afterwards! so freaking fun.. only stayed for the yacht dance.. but i think that was all i needed to stay for.. i had a flight to HAWAII con rosie.. ai yay yay! haha my bff for sure.

so then i went to back to wailea, maui, HI. my home basically with rosie.

we're going to both get married and then bring our fams back there like 3 times a year.. we already go twice a year and rosie more than that! haha i LOVE you so much rosie and i miss hawaii.. ihave no pictures here, they are all back at home.. sigh. but it was so beautiful and perfect.. indescribable really. surfing in the mornings, hanging out by the pools. getting pretty much ridic tans... and boys.. LOL boys oh .. don't get me started. lol.. but maui has a piece of my heart ALWAYS and i wish i were back there. or could go back soon. :(

well that was the end of senior year. the most bombest year in high school EVER. that's for SURE.

dont' you guys like my little yearbook in pictures.. or what i have of my pictures. most are back at home but this is what i always do randomly on xanga when i'm bored. so if you've made it this far and are actually reading thanks :) hehe i love my memories.

OKAY so after i got back from hawaii on 6/25... i partied with some friends DUH haha no just hanging out and going to the beach NONSTOP con mis amigos. and bonding with the family for SURE. waiting for august to come.. haha august would be the busiest month of my life pretty much.

so beginning of august. 1st 2 weeks actually me and the fam move AGNES IN TO MED SCHOOL AT DREXEL UNIVERSITY in PENNSYLVANIA!! ahh.. i miss her constantly. :(
so we travel to philadelphia for her white coat ceremony.. actually me and alison travel ALONE for the first time in our lives to meet up with the padres and agnes in philly and we're there for 2 nights we celebrate agnes' bday at MORIMOTO's a SUPER FANTASTIC japanese restaurant, Iron Chef Morimoto's actually, so delicious. and we have MELTING POT.. mmmHMM. and then the padres y mi hermana, Alison, y yo viajamos a Manhattan, Nueva YORK! then the parents and Alison and myself went to NEW YORK via cheap really nice charter bus... we stayed at park central for a short week and we did everything. EAT. (bubba gump's, serendipity, tavern on the green) and we SHOPPED til we DROPPED (bloomingdales and 5th ave. duh. dylan's candybar.. just EVERYWHERE every store haha) so fun.. and then we watched Rent.. not so amazing but it was broadway so super fun nonetheless. OH not to mention we took a crazy bus tour that took the entire day but we saw the wonderful sites. Time Square.. we actually lived a couple blocks down so we went there often for bubba's and the mtv store under MTV TRL!! so fun, and the Statue of Liberty and Ground Zero.. the bus took us everywhere.. to canal st., the soho, to south dock or somethingorother where we had brunch, to wallstreet.. everywhere.
and THEN after riding the cheap really nice charterbus back to philly we ate at ALMA DE CUBA... the best cuban food you can ever imagine.. with the best bread.. shopped some more with the family reunited with agnes! and then we watched agnes in her white coat ceremony where she received her white coat to be a doctor.. so amazing.. i'm so proud of her :) and then we had to leave her and go home :(

HI ALL..

HAHA EMILY i'm totally posting just because i saw her post and now i want to post.

i haven't posted since the beginning of senior year last year.. and now i'm in the beginning of my freshman year at ucsd..

i can't believe it.. God has been so amazing to me this past year and so loving and wonderful.. He truely blessed me so much.

okay first off. senior year was the best year ever. actually this whole last year was the best year i've yet to have.

i thank God everyday for my life. seriously i do. He's so awesome.
PERIOD.

some FUN moments in senior year.. yeah just blips cause i don't have all my pictures here in sd.

mammoth and mt. high with my besties. snowboarding.MAFIA.laughing so freaking hard you can't breathe anymore.. i loved every moment with them.

my 17th birthday. DUH. :) bucas and just chillin.

broomball crazyness with some lovelies.. winter time you have to put your game face on and beat people with hockey sticks. hehe

the only pic from winter formal i have.. lol PARTY CREW. dancing like mad women my dress broke.. twice. it was SOOOOOO FUN. i love dances :)

senior breakfast.. yeS we made the whole spread OURSELVES..!!! YESSS kevin is a crazy eater.. sigh omelettes, TONS of fresh strawberries, bananas, and blueberries and homemade waffles.. MMMHMM.. oh and don't forget the whipped cream :) girls sleepover, narcoleptic megan. me and jenyay talking while i'm rubixing it up hehe

powder puff.. oh yes the night my knee totally got eaten by my driveway.. sigh but it was freaking sweet and of course seniors won :).. yes we have our grills we're G.

OSS!!! omgosh.. going back and counseling for 5th graders brought back SOOO many memories.. i love alyssa and alex.. would NOT have made it through without them. haha some BAD memories but mostly very good.. i felt old but me and alyssa were like the same size as some kids.. :-/ haha

HAHAH the epitome of senioritis.. ditching school to visit Westmont with alyssa... the college that i didn't even apply to.. yeahh.. "checking out colleges.." HAHAHA aka go to capazon and TRY ON PROM DRESSES. alyssa looks like belle.. sigh those dresses were mighty fun BETSEY JOHNSON! woohoo such a fun random roadtrip. i love her.

omgosh the best part.. MORP!!! sp style of course.

thanks willum for taking me! AHHHHH haha dances with my favorites.. those are the BESTEST ever. and alex is basically the love of my life. haha JK but he's my white brother from another mother.. yeah i remember that lady in vons while camping out on new years!!!!

and then! YOSEMITE..

Y-O-S-E-M-I-T-E!!! May.. the BEST experience ever.. i will always remember.. sanguineas.. hiking 33 miles over 4 days.. without showers and toilets.. hah we were ONE with mother nature.. seriously.. and we were eaten by bugs.. and starved.. bonding with YAG haha singing gangster songs with JESS & CLAIRE.. oh i love them so much.
the whole experience was SO AWESOME. it made me really be able to experience God's beautiful creation.. it was so breathtaking.

WOOOHOOO haha almost done with senior year!! and then sm prom.. PCs with connie and NICOLE!! ommgosh so freaking fun. dancing with my cousin ANGEL CHIANG.. she's really my soul sister.

SENIORRSSSS finally... i feel incredibly old but it's odd.. i still feel like i look exactly the same.. but i don't.. i look incredibly different.. whatev. it's freaking surreal.

OMGOSH.. this blogging box is SO HIGH TECH. haha it makes me happy!

well let's see. i haven't posted in FOREVER so i just want to put in some FUN PICTURES FROM EVERYTHING YOU HAVE MISSED!

YUP that's royal ball.. awesome awesome dance.. and that fool is jon, he was my date for the night. fun kid.

ANYWAY it was SO COOL and yet freaking sweaty and gross haha but FUN nonetheless..

yea random outtings with the kids... i LOVE my friends and i love spending time with them. i'm really blessed.

YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS!! SUMMER RETREAT 2005! san diego.. always SUPER FUN as usual, getting to bond with the girlies and SENIORS 06! from la iglesia.. i love these two chicas!YESSS successful in capturing the essence that is PEDRO. haha he never lets us take pictures.. BUT NOW he's being way more open. bravo pedro!that's me and big butt.. aka JENNY aka HENNY aka JENYAY. she's one of my best buds and one of the FUNNIEST PEOPLE I KNOW. i love her to pieces and chillin with her is awesome.it is so hard to take a picture of these boys.. agh well anyway, it's patrick, jeff and ching.. the way cool LC boys.. they're so funny and random it makes me want to be even more random than i already am.
